Our Team
We have a dedicated team of volunteers.
All of our team members are volunteers. Giving up their free time to work with us and support our ambulance service.
Our team members come from all walks of life, some of our team have a medical background, others work in various fields from retail and education, to data protection and security.
What Do We Carry.
All of our responders are well equipped to deal with a wide range of medical emergencies.
Diagnostics
Our responders are trained to complete a range of diagnostic tests. Designed to help diagnose injuries and illnesses and provide appropriate treatments
Trauma
Our responders are trained in first aid and some have more advanced trauma skills. Some of our responders are qualified to carry pain relief as well.
Life Support
All of our responders are trained in CPR and basic life support. All our team members carry defibrillators and medical oxygen to help some of the most critically ill.

Peter is one of our three trustees, and has been co-ordinator of the scheme since it’s inception.

Our responders can be found all over the Derby area.
With 21 responders in our scheme you are never far away from a member of the team, and all of our team members pride themselves on responding to emergencies in their area.
